What is a pass?

The pass is the digital form of the classic loyalty card. Just like these, the passes can be used to collect or redeem loyalty points. Unlike paper loyalty cards, no stamps or stickers are used to add points; instead, the pass is scanned with the passpoints app from the respective store. The points are then automatically credited via the internet.

How can I add a pass to iOS?

There are several ways to do this:
1. Scan the passpoints QR code of the respective store with the integrated Passbook© app from Apple. This is either available in printed form or can be displayed to you by a store employee using their passpoints app. For more information, visit http://support.apple.com/de-de/HT5483
2. Visit the store's own passpoints page and have the pass sent to you via email. The address might look like this for an example restaurant: http://passpoints.de/pass/Example. Ask a store employee for the respective address if necessary.

How can I add points to a pass?

To add points to a customer's pass, you need the free passpoints app on your smartphone.
Then proceed as follows:
1. Open the app and log in with your passpoints data if necessary.
2. Enter the desired number of points.
3. Click on "Add".
4. Scan the QR code on your customer's pass.

How can I redeem points from a pass?

Redeeming points from a pass works similarly to adding them (see above). Replace step 3 as follows:

How can I send notifications to my customers?

To send a push notification to your customers, proceed as follows:
1. Log in at passpoints.de.
2. Open the "Push" tab under Manage Pass.
3. Customize the push notification to your liking.
4. Click on "Send to your customers!"

How can I change the design of my pass?

Proceed as follows:
1. Log in at passpoints.de.
2. Go to Manage Pass
3. Customize the pass to your liking under the "Design" tab.

Can I assign my employees their own accounts?

Yes! This has the advantage for you that you can always track how many points the individual employees have added or redeemed. In addition, employees - unlike you - do not have access to the settings.

To manage employee accounts, proceed as follows:
1. Log in at passpoints.de.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Manage the employee accounts under the "Employees" tab.
